ASP.Net: ASP.Net will allow one to build fantastic web sites, web applications and web services. It is the proud creation of Microsoft and is a server-side language. ASP.Net is gifted, so to speak, in that it possess various talents including its ability to manage email, connect to other web sites or servers, process form information, store data in a database, create cookies in a web browser and much more!

Ruby on Rails: Think of “Rails’ and then think of “speed”. This is a free, server-side web application which allows one to create fabulous web pages and applications quickly– it has power to rapidly design and employ web applications. It can take a bit more time to learn Ruby on Rails, but you will find that you’ll be able to do most tasks more quickly than with most other languages—which means you can take a much longer coffee break.

Programming Categories:

There are two categories Web programming incorporates:

— The Client Side: “Give and take” summarizes the client side of web programming. The client aspect requires programming associated with retrieving information from users as well as delivering certain data. JavaScript, especially, compliments the client side. JavaScript is unrivaled when it comes to designing and implementing web applications.
